Paavai Engineering College is an autonomous institute established in the year 2001 Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. The college has been accredited by NBA & NAAC with Grade A. It is ranked 212 for B.Tech by India Today ranking 2022. The college offers B.E./B.Tech at the UG level, ME, MBA, MCA at the PG level, and Ph.D. at the doctoral level. A good number of students are placed every year in reputed organizations. 

M.P.Nachimuthu M.Jaganathan Engineering College, Chennimalai, Erode is one among the best self-financing engineering colleges. Rathinavel Subramaniam (RVS) Educational Trust was established in 1983 as a public charitable Trust, in fond memory of Master Rathinavel Subramaniam the elder son of the chairman Vijayashree Dr. K. V. Kupusamy and Late Smt. K. Padmavathy, with objectives to create facilities for education, health care and up-liftment of the poor and the downtrodden rural regions. A team of UGC experts visited the college in September 2022 and evaluated the potential and achievements of the college and recommended the college be declared as an autonomous institution. The college finally received its autonomous status from Anna University on 23 November 2022 for ten years (2022-2032).
